- Farmers are the one working class of society that work the hardest and are paid the least. Which is why we, here at IIChE, have not forgotten to celebrate them. Farmers' Day, also known as Kisan Diwas, is an annual observance in various countries to celebrate the national contributions that farmers and agriculturers make to our society.

- Oftentimes in society, people with disabilities are discriminated against, counted as less for physically having less. And while it may be difficult for people with disabilities to lead a “normal” life, they’re no doubt gifted in areas we fail to perceive.
- In order to raise awareness about the discrimination against such people, and to make society realize that an individual is more than what they’re born with, 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 is dedicatedly celebrated as International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
- On this day, IIChE-VIT brings to you "Disable Zone", a fascinating crossword puzzle related to the chemicals which cause disabilities. PROJECT BASED LEARNING USING MATLAB AND SIMULINK

- While a global pandemic has stunted offline education and limits our resources, we have not stopped trying to structure out education based on the quote above. Apps like MATLAB and SIMULINK have been an integral part of making online education suitable for hands-on learners, which to be honest, most of us are.
- IIChE-VIT student chapter along with other prestigious clubs and chapters is extremely euphoric to present "Project-Based Learning Using MATLAB and SIMULINK", a webinar to address emerging innovations and applications using MATLAB and SIMULINK projects to enhance hands-on learning by Harish Murthy, Souvick Chatterjee and Elsa John.

PERIODIC FEVER

- With the aim to enrich your chemical prowess, IIChE-VIT in collaboration with IIChE-NITR is delighted to present to you: Periodic Fever, a combination of an enthralling quiz and live competition to test your depth of knowledge and an opportunity to compete with participants across the nation! Test your expertise via the 2 rounds focused on Aptitude, general chemistry and the Periodic Table.
- The first round would be conducted on the Dare2Compete platform on 27th August 2021 from 5 PM, and second one on 28th August, for which Top-15 teams from Round-1 will be qualified.
THE HYDRO PANEL

- Group discussions have become significant in the recruitment process of various companies and organizations.They play a vital role in student’s life. It is not only beneficial for someone’s social skills but also for enhancing their educational development and learning.
- Keeping this in mind, IIChE-CSC in association with IIChE_VIT presents THE HYDRO PANEL- an online GROUP DISCUSSION EVENT on the theme of World Water Week.

- The topic for the discussion will be given on the spot and will be completely related to the theme. The group of participants would be given exactly 20 minutes to speak on the topic and extra 5 minutes to come up with a conclusion of the discussion. E-certificates will be given to all the participants and special E-certificates will be awarded to the winners.
